Group Collaborative Response
Each of us come from different cultural backgrounds. We all began at a young age listening to music from our heritage. In the beginning, the music we were listening to were influenced by our parents. The majority of our music when we were younger were folk music. As we grew up, we weren't influence by our past, but from the United States ways.
Our genre's changed quickly as we grew older. We were all influenced by our peers. Most of us listened to what was "in" with our group of friends at the time. Even though we were close in age, we all listened to different kind of music. What this shows about our generation is that it's very spread out when it comes to music.
In the world, there are different genres of music that influence us individually. We all come from the same generation, but we were influenced by different parts of the world. That is why we like the kind of music now. It is clear that although we start out listening to the music from our backgrounds, we all ended up having our own taste of music.
